9/26//2021 – Fall  Foliage Picnic
It was a spectacular weather day for the MSRA Fall Foliage Picnic. Beautiful setting, fabulous food, friends, fun, approximately 600 cars were there, and many of the 2021 nominated cars were on hand to view. A special THANK YOU shout-out to Tom Vollbrecht, Sr., Tom Vollbrecht, Jr and their entire committee of volunteers for another great event!!

9/24/2021 – Friday Night Picnic
It was a sunny afternoon and a great turnout for the Friday Night picnic! Friends+Food+Fun+Fellowship! Oh, and did I mention … Food! Thank you to our very own MSRA member grill-masters for cooking the steaks and hot dogs, to those who brought desserts and veggie trays to share, and to Dick Kinnan, Blaine Gartner and their committee of volunteers who helped plan and prepare for the picnic, helped set up, clean up, and tear-down. Great job everyone!

8/27-8/29/2021 – SSFR
MSRA – SSFR/BIR — a lot of letters came together for a weekend of racing fun!! It began as foggy, misty, and raining but then the weather cleared and it was  a beautiful weekend for the MSRA members who attended Super Secret Fun Run at at Brainerd International Raceway (BIR) this year! Some members camped, some stayed at a local hotels, others drove up for just one day, and all agreed … SSFR is all about Friends, Fun, Fellowship, campfires and RACING
This year was also a MSRA Voting Event. Click here to go to the Announcement page where the 2021 Car of the Year nominees are listed.
Thank you to Tom Vollbrect, Jr., Dave Lemke, Joe Karpowicz, Ted Jacobson and their entire committee of volunteers for this always anticipated and favorite weekend for MSRA members!

2020 MEMORIES
Thank you to all who have shared their photos for our 2020 Member Event Memories

8/21-8/23/2020 – SSFR
MSRA – SSFR/BIR — a lot of letters came together for a weekend of racing fun!! It was a beautiful weekend for the MSRA members who attended Super Secret Fun Run at at Brainerd International Raceway (BIR) this year! The weekend schedule included on Friday the racecourse was open to MSRA, and tech inspections were open to be eligible to race on the dragstrip on Saturday and Sunday. And this year, for the first time, the Junior Dragsters were racing.
Some members camped, some stayed at a local hotels, others drove up for just one day, and all agreed … SSFR is all about Friends, Fun, Fellowship, campfires and RACING!  Thank you to Tom Vollbrect, Jr., Dave Lemke, Carol Koop, and their entire committee of volunteers for this always anticipated and favorite weekend for MSRA members!

March 14, 2020 – MSRA Safety Team Annual Banquet

The  banquet was held at the Lost Spur Golf and Event Center. As always, the Lost Spur provided a great dinner and the dessert table was amazing.
At this event we review how the team did for the year, – we were number 2 in the country. The team has been in the top 10 for the last 26 years. We also recognize the years of service at this event, I handed out pins to the following individuals: (Names and years of service to be added to this Thank You soon)

January 25, 2020 – Annual Winter Awards Banquet 

An exciting evening of special recognition, friends, food, fun and fellowship as together we celebrate all that is MSRA! This is a very special year-end event as we say thank you to our volunteers, recognize our volunteer members who are retiring after many years of service, say thank you to the 2019 Board of Directors, meet the new 2020 Board of Directors, and announce the winners of 2019 Street Rod of the Year and 2019 Custom of the year. Thank you to Tom and Judy Vollbrecht, Tom Vollbrecht, Jr. and their entire committee for all they do to put on this banquet!
